Situated at 70 Rue Trivalle, just steps away from the iconic Carcassonne castle, La Creperie La Trivalle offers an authentic French creperie experience that captures both the heart and palate of visitors. This charming spot specializes in traditional Breton galettes and crepes, crafted with care and high-quality ingredients that truly celebrate the region’s culinary heritage.
Whether you're drawn by the savory allure of a rich Iberica galette or the delicate sweetness of their signature pancakes, each dish at La Creperie La Trivalle is a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. Customers frequently praise the light, tender texture of their buckwheat flour galettes, which cater wonderfully to gluten-free diners without sacrificing taste. From the first bite, the blend of rustic, earthy notes and fresh, vibrant toppings is an absolute delight.
The atmosphere here is effortlessly inviting. The outside terrace, perfectly positioned in a lively street at the foot of the castle, allows guests to soak in the vibrant street life of Carcassonne while savoring their meal. Despite occasional bustle, the attentive and cheerful staff, including Simone and Phelip, go to great lengths to connect with diners even across language barriers. As one guest, Jacquie Brauer, warmly noted, their kindness and patience create a genuinely welcoming environment.

Stopped for lunch and sat outside, alongside a large and rather loud group of English tourists. I didn’t speak French and the restaurant staff didn’t speak English but we got there. I had the Iberica and it was really tasty. Would recommend for a quick bite.
